What is IELTS?

IELTS is an international English language assessment designed to evaluate a candidate’s ability to communicate effectively in English. It measures four key language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. IELTS is jointly managed by recognized global organizations and follows strict international assessment standards.

IELTS scores are accepted by thousands of institutions across countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. The test is suitable for candidates aged 16 and above who wish to pursue higher education, professional registration, employment, or migration.

IELTS Test Administration

IELTS exams are conducted at authorized test centers across the globe. Tests are held regularly throughout the year, and results are usually available within 13–14 days. Candidates receive an official Test Report Form (TRF), which can also be sent directly to universities or institutions upon request.

  • Candidates can retake the IELTS test without any restriction
  • IELTS is available in two formats: Academic and General Training
  • Paper-based and Computer-delivered test options are available
